Helping The Community

At Livi Lives, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue directly in the community.  We do this through support groups, parent meetings, and workshops on various topics.

Many families face the reality of reinventing their priorities after receiving the news that their child has special needs. They may have to make the difficult decision to cut back on their work hours, or one parent may need to give up his or her job altogether in order to meet their child’s additional needs.

Obviously this is a stressful situation, as a couple and family are adjusting not only to the newness of the diagnosis, but they’re also adjusting to a new reality with less money but most likely, more work and challenges than ever.

Many times gifts, vacations and fun activities are not affordable, and although money doesn´t buy happiness, recreation and rest is always needed in order to feel better and be able to face challenging situations. Those simple gifts are priceless!We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
